Day 01: Australia-Jeju
Enjoy your overnight flight to Jeju via Hongkong.
Day 02: Arrive Jeju (L)
meet your tour guide at Jeju Airport (upon exiting customs) and then head out to *Yongduam Rock (Dragon Head Rock). Admire the majestic rock formations and deep-blue waters. Continue to Halla Arboretum to see 909 kinds of native trees and subtropical plants and you can meet the four-season flower forest, colorful forests, and the beautiful seasons of mother nature. Stop for lunch at local restaurant. And then, move to enjoy a variety of performances such as a monkey, sea lion, and dolphin, animals’ show – Pacific Land Show (optional, US$13PP) and can take pictures with them. Continue to the Yakchunsa Temple which is the greatest and largest in the East and serves 30 thousand budda statues in it. Check in hotel. Lotte or similar
Day 03: Jeju (B,L)
Breakfast at your hotel, and then enjoy a full day of sightseeing. Visit Cheonjeyeon Falls (The Pond of God), Continue to the Gyulimseong tangerine farm and followed by a scenic cruise aboard the Seogwipo Pleasure Boat (optional, US$18PP). Stop for lunch at the local restaurant. Visit Spirited Garden, recognized as the most beautiful garden in the world by the press and renowned guest from around the world who have visited since it opened on July 30.1992 . Take a walk “Olle” a narrow pathway. Complete the day with a walk along the shores of Yongmeori Beach; if closed*, visit Sanbanggulsa cave instead. Dinner on your own and transfer to hotel. Day 04: Jeju-Busan (B )
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then transfer to *Seopjikoji – One of the most mysterious sights in Jeju Island, in harmony with seashore made up of grotesque cliffs and dark blue ocean, where you can enjoy trekking on the Olle path. Visit *Seongsan Ilchulbong (sun rising) Peak, World Heritage designated by UNESCO. Next, step back in time as you explore the Seongeup Folk Village, renowned for perfectly preserving Korean traditions. This village also boasts many cultural landmarks, such as Confucian shrines and schools, millstones, and more. If time permits, visit the Museum of Natural History – to have an opportunity to experience and learn about the environment and shows how to preserve the earth’s natural beauty. Stop by Korean Jewellery Amethyst and local product store. Transfer to Jeju Airport and Fly to Busan, the 2nd largest city ,check in at Novotel Busan or similar
Day 05: Busan-Gyeongju (B)
After breakfast, free of leisure before transferring to Gyeongju, a museum without walls. In 57 BC, around when Julius Caesar was subduing Gaul, it became the capital of the Shilla Dynasty and remained so for about 1000 years. Day 06: Gyeongju-Andong-Wonju (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Gyeongju City Tour include Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO world heritage) – The beauty of the temple itself and artistic touch of the stone relics are as awesome and fascinating as to be highly praised by visitors from all over the world. Move to Andong then visit Hahoe Folk Village which has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Joseon Dynasty. Move to Wonju decorated with the Chiaksan Mountain and the Seom River that circles the area, and as the capital of Gangwon Province for 500 years during the Joseon Dynasty, it maintains rich tradition and cultural relics. Day 07: Wonju-Pyeongchang-Gangneung-Mt.Sorak-Seoul (B)
Breakfast at your hotel.Move to Pyeongchang – the venue of 2018 Winter Olympic Games (Alpensia Resort). Then move to nearby Gangneung, located between the Eastern sea and the mountain ridge, well-known for wide pine forests, clean sandy beaches and crystal blue sea. Visit Seongyojang Folklore Materials Pavilion (residence of noble class) As a typical mansion of the nobility in the late Joseon dynasty (1392~1910), it is a valuable material for studying the housing life in those days. Short drive to Sokcho Mt. Seorak National Park, the peaks of the Seoraksan Mountains break through the clouds while jade-like water flows through the valleys, creating breathtaking views and making this Korea’s most famous national park. Due to the many rare species found here, UNESCO designated this national park a Biosphere Preservation District in1982. You may take a optional ride onCable car to Gwongeumseong fortress, Move to Seoul in the late afternoon and check-in at Center Mark Hotel or similar for 2 nights stay.
Day 08: Seoul-DMZ-Seoul (B)
Travel by coach to the DMZ where you will visit the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, Dora Observatory and the Unification village. In Imjinkak we visit Freedom Bridge and the Peace Bell. Later this afternoon travel to Panmunjom, the ‘truce village’ which is the site of the Korean War cease fire in 1953 and where ongoing peace talks between North and South Korea continue. Here you will visit the Military Demarcation line, the North Korean Border, the propaganda village and the Bridge of No Return. We will drop you off at Itaewon street where you can have your own time. Overnight in Seoul
Day 09: Seoul-Australia (B)
After breakfast, start your half day tour with Gyeongbokgung Palace (Deoksu Palace on Tue), built in 1394, the first five royal palaces during Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910), The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, National Folk Museum, Korean Ginseng Centre, afternoon transfer to airport for your flight home.
