Day 01: Australia- Taipei
Enjoy your overnight flight from Australia to Taipei. Meal on board.
Day 02: Arrival Taipei (B)
Welcome to Taipei! Upon arrival, meet and transfer to Howard Plaza hotel or similar for overnight stay. Enjoy half day city tour afterwards. You will be driving pass by the Presidential Office Building Chiang Kai- Shek Memorial Hall (Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall), Martyrs’ Shrine also named War Memorial, National Palace Museum, Chinese Temple and Handicraft Centre. In the late afternoon you can visit Shilin night market and enjoy the night of Taipei at your own pace.
Day 03: Taipei –Sun Moon Lake (B, L)
After breakfast, meet tour Guide at hotel then transfer to Taiwan High Speed Rail Taipei Station. Take Taiwan High Speed Rail to Taichung . 10:30 Arrive Taichung and proceed to Puli Town-located in the centre of Taiwan. Visit the cultural & artistic heaven. Lunch at Puli. After lunch transfer to Sun Moon Lake. Sun Moon Lake is situated 762 meters above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan, (stops will be made at Wen-Wu Temple, Te hua Village, Tse En Pagoda, and Holy Monk Shrine), Overnight at Del Lago Hotel, Sun Moon Lake
Day 04: Sun Moon Lake – Tainan – Kaohsiung (B, L)
After breakfast, check out and depart for Tainan , transfer to Tainan by coach 11:30 Arrive Tainan City. It is the island’s oldest and now fourth largest city. With its long history, Tainan is rich in historic sites and cultural heritage. After Lunch, tour at Tainan (We will take you to visit Chihkan Lou, Koxinga Shrine, Chihkan Lou, and Chi Mei Museum) Check in at Howard Hotel Kaohsiung. Evening Visit the Lio Ho Night Market and Love River.
Day 05: Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung (B,L)
After Breakfast, check out and depart for Kenting, located in the southern tip of Taiwan. 10:00 Visit the scenic areas of the Kenting National Park. Located at Taiwan’s southern tip and the 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline along three sides of the park provide its main attractions. Stop will be made at Oluanpi light house, Maopitou coast scenic area and Kenting forest recreation area. Lunch at Kenting Restaurant. Proceed to Taitung. Taitung County is a county in eastern Taiwan. The name means “Eastern Taiwan”. Taitung County is also known as (hou shan) by many of the locals, meaning behind the mountains or the back mountains. Arrive Taitung and overnight stay at Naruwan Hotel. Enjoy SPA & Hot Spring bath at your hotel.
Day 06: Taitung–Hualien–Taipei (B,L)
After breakfast, transfer to Taitung Railway Station for a train ride to Hualien. Arrive at Hualien and proceed to Taroko Gorge. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by a river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. Taroko Gorge Tour (stops will be made at the Gateway, Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Caves, Tunnel of Nine Turns, and local restaurant for lunch). Late afternoon depart for Hualien Railway Station to take the train back to Taipei. Arrive Taipei and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Taipei-Seoul (B)
After breakfast transfer to airport for your flight to Seoul. Meet and transfer to Seoul city and start your city tour includes a visit to Gyeongbokgung, the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). One of five palaces in Seoul, it has a 600 years history. Later transfer to Cheong Wa Dae (Presidential Residence), the symbol of Cheong Wa Dae is the blue tiles. As the Blue House represents Korea, the blue tiles and the smooth curve of the roof represents the beauty of Korea. Transfer back to Fraser Place or similar for overnight stay.
Day 08 Seoul-Gongju-Buyeo-Jeongju-Gwangju (B)
This morning we depart Seoul for Gongju and visit Gongsanseong Fortress, a 2.5 long mountain castle, established during the Baekje Dynasty Period (AD234-678), then move to Buyeo, an ancient capital of the Dynasty. Visit Baekje Cultural Land where you will see a palace, castle, cultural hall, etc. Proceed to Jeonju to visit Jeonju Hanok Village including about 700 traditional Korean houses called Hanok. Transfer to Gwangju, the leading city of Honam region and birthplace of a modern democratic movement in Korea. Stay overnight at Gwangju Prado Hotel or similar
Day 09: Gwangju–Suncheon-Yeosu (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Start your City Tour and visit Asia Munwha Maru for a Hub City of Asian Culture and Street of Arts. Move to Suncheon where you will visit Songgwangsa Temple and Suncheon Bay is most famous for its vast reed fields, the largest of its kind within the nation. Later transfer to nearby city Yeosu, a port city and look around the Fish Market and sightseeing of Industrial Complex night scene. Check into hotel and enjoy your leisure time . Day 10: Yeosu-Jinju-Busan-Gyeongju (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Move to Jinju and see Jinjuseong Castle – Chokseoknu edifice historically linked to Japanese invasion in 1592. Proceed to Busan. On arrival, start Busan City Tour from Jagalchi Fishery Market , Lorea’s largest seafood market where you will have free time for lunch and wondering around the market.Later Transfer to Gyeongju Move to Gyeongju, a museum without walls. In 57 BC, around when Julius Caesar was subduing Gaul, it became the capital of the Shilla Dynasty and remained so for about 1000 years. Gyeongju preserves a vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritage. Overnight at Gyeongju Concord Hotel or similar
Day 11: Gyeongju-Andong-Wonju (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Gyeongju City Tour include Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO world heritage) – The beauty of the temple itself and artistic touch of the stone relics are as awesome and fascinating as to be highly praised by visitors from all over the world. Move to Andong then visit Hahoe Folk Village which has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Joseon Dynasty. Move to Wonju decorated with the Chiaksan Mountain and the Seom River that circles the area, and as the capital of Gangwon Province for 500 years during the Joseon Dynasty, it maintains rich tradition and cultural relics. Day 12: Wonju-Pyeongchang-Gangneung-Mt.Sorak-Seoul (B)
Breakfast at your hotel.Move to Pyeongchang – the venue of 2018 Winter Olympic Games (Alpensia Resort). Then move to nearby Gangneung, located between the Eastern sea and the mountain ridge, well-known for wide pine forests, clean sandy beaches and crystal blue sea. Visit Seongyojang Folklore Materials Pavilion (residence of noble class) As a typical mansion of the nobility in the late Joseon dynasty (1392~1910), it is a valuable material for studying the housing life in those days. Short drive to Sokcho Mt. Seorak National Park, the peaks of the Seoraksan Mountains break through the clouds while jade-like water flows through the valleys, creating breathtaking views and making this Korea’s most famous national park. Due to the many rare species found here, UNESCO designated this national park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982. You may take a optional ride onCable car to Gwongeumseong fortress, Move to Seoul in the late afternoon and overnight at Centre Mark Hotel or similar.
Day 13: Seoul-Australia (B)
After breakfast, free of leisure. You may enjoy last minute shopping or visit local markets, later transfer to airport for your flight home.
Day 14 Arrive Australia
Arrive home in the morning.
